OUR COMPANY

“We are an equal opportunity employer.”

TechSea International Inc. is dedicated to providing the Fisheries Observers that help manage the commercial fishing industry. We recruit and hire Observer candidates that are trained and certified by the Federal and State government agencies responsible for managing these fisheries. We welcome both new candidates and experienced Observers. Our commitment to attracting and maintaining a roster of professional Observers is the cornerstone of our operation. Our remuneration package is structured to recognize and promote both experience and performance. We commit significant effort to the selection and recruitment process of new candidates and offer excellent logistical support for our employees working in the field.

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is the federal agency responsible for the management of North Pacific groundfish species while the state of Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G) manages the crab fishery. TechSea International deploys Observers to fisheries managed by both of these government agencies. The major government offices that interact with TechSea Observers are located in Seattle (Washington) and Anchorage (Alaska). We maintain a permanent residence in each of these locations to accommodate our Observers during training, briefings and debriefings.

Upon completion of government training and certification TechSea Observers are sent to work in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska aboard commercial fishing vessels. From our office in Seattle, Washington we arrange the logistics of travel and accommodations for our Observers at work in the field.
